To see young people developing love for Mathematics and Science, and for them to pass the knowledge to others so that they also realise that nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it, and make efforts towards achieving it.

• BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Looking for extra classes around Tsakane? .A+ Students is a programme of teachers who are dedicated to helping young people in Maths and Science, focussing mainly on Maths (grade 8-12), Physical Sciences and Life Sciences (grade 10-12). 

The programme is based in Tsakane Sector 4. It started in January 2015 by Musa Mthombeni and Cavin Nkosinathi Promise Diphoko at Tholulwazi Secondary School and expanded to Tsakane Secondary School, Musa left the programme after a few months and Cavin carried on with the vision. Skheshe joined Cavin later that year and also left after a few months, Cavin still carried on with the vision, and early second term in 2016 he was joined by Bonginkosi, Njabulo Zulu and Mfundo Maseko who did their matric 2015, Bonginkosi, Njabulo and Mfundo also left after a few months Cavin is currently conducting the extra classes at Tsakane Secondary School and had to remove Life Sciences because time is not enough for all three subjects so only Maths and Physical sciences classes are running at the moment. The students are also being motivated to study and taught about life in general, there are prices for better performance in term 2 and 4.

We try to reach all learners and make sure they give their best performance especially during exams , we teach them strategies because most learners don't fail because they dont know what is being asked but they dont know how to prepare for exams.
